“The Taste of Home”
Food is memory. When I cook Kyrgyz dishes like beshbarmak , manty , or samsa , I feel close to my mother’s kitchen. The smell of dough, onion, and warm broth brings me back to my childhood. Cooking is not only about eating — it is a language of love. Through food, I share my story, my country, and my gratitude. Every dish carries a message: “Remember who you are, and never forget where you come from.”

“Living Between Two Worlds”
Living between two countries means living between two hearts. I often miss the quiet mornings of Kyrgyzstan and the comfort of family, yet I also love the opportunities and friendships I’ve found in the United States. Sometimes it feels hard to belong completely to one place — but I realized that my heart can hold both. Every step abroad helps me see my homeland more clearly, and every return home reminds me how much I have grown.
