Living between two countries means living between two hearts. I often miss the quiet mornings of Kyrgyzstan and the comfort of family, yet I also love the opportunities and friendships I’ve found in the United States.

Sometimes it feels hard to belong completely to one place — but I realized that my heart can hold both.

Every step abroad helps me see my homeland more clearly, and every return home reminds me how much I have grown.
